Verse 18 says, "let us not love in words or tongue but actions and in truth."
The world is going to hate us the more we try to become like Jesus. As I grow up I am grateful to be in a great church with men who know how to "talk the talk, and walk the walk."
For example. I went fishing with brother Steve Mooney and he acted just as he does in church. Jesus told us that He loved us and then showed it by dieing on the cross for our salvation. We should all want that kind of passion and live that kind of life.
